Composite Bearings
At AHP Seals, we manufacture a range of advanced composites materials. These are fiber reinforced, plastic laminates which are ideally suited to highly loaded bearing applications in a variety of environments.
AHP Seals ,composite materials offer engineers a real and effective alternative to phosphur bronze, with many advantages over this and the other traditional bearing materials sometimes used in its place. Our Grade has been specifically formulated for marine environment applications.
Finished components include: structural bearings, washers, wear rings, spherical bearings, wear pads, wear strips, rollers, and bushings including custom components.
All AHP Seals grades are laminates composed of synthetic fabrics which are impregnated by thermosetting resins and solid lubricant fillers. Our grades are non-toxic and can be used in food processing machinery in contact with food/drink. In addition, most AHP Seals grades can be used down at cryogenic temperatures.
