Solartron Metrology is the world-leading manufacturer of gauging sensors. Using the LVDT and Half-Bridge principles of operation, these transducers use a contact method of measurement with stroke lengths between +/-1mm and +/-10mm. Our displacement transducers cover a much larger range - anything from +/-1mm to +/-300mm, with a wide range of conditioning electronics. The Orbit range is a versatile approach to digital measurement. This range of mix and match transducers and PC compatible electronics, include the Linear Encoder with a measuring range of 12/25/50 and 100mm.
