Our UVOST™ technology (Ultra Violet Optical Screening Tool) has become commercialy available. UVOST efficiently delineates petroleum, oil, and lubricant (POL) contaminants in the subsurface. All the usual forms of POLs, including; gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, and hydraulic fluids, can be detected via the fluorescence response of their polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) constituents. The fluorescence signal is directly proportional to concentration. Our technology has been verified under the EPA-Site program and is in use in the US as well as locations in Europe.
