GNK VALVES manufactures and supplies high quality industrial valves which compete on quality, lead time, price and support.
GNK was founded in 1908 by Green Nick Knot, a Design Engineer, targeting Automotive, Manufacturing and Mining Industries. He designed an automotive valve, a butterfly valve and a Knife Gate Valve. His ambitious project died when he passed on in 1938 after little success in the Americas, UK and Asia. Because of his name the valve was and is still known as the ‘’Green Valve’’
Having originated in the United Kingdom, GNK Valves has its head office in Mauritius and a Distribution Office in South Africa. GNK’s model of business in approaching various markets and industries is through appointment of ‘’Distribution Channel Partners’’. Focus is given more to appointment of ‘’Local’’ Partners who understand the dynamics of the local markets and laws.
GNK is therefore a solution provider as opposed to just being ‘’a finished product’’ supplier.
