Smiths Detection’s X-ray inspection technology enables food manufacturers to inspect their products for contaminants, even if multiple or metallic packaging is used. Foreign bodies and tiny particles such as metal, bone or glass splints and minute stones are reliably detected, but the system also simultaneously inspects for inherent product faults.
