Aquila® DPU102 gloves protect and guard on the Swanage Railway

The volunteers and employees of the Swanage Railway in Dorset – like railway workers everywhere – need good hand protection. So Aquila® were delighted that Jon Smallwood – a guard on the line- found their DPU102 gloves particularly well suited to his work.
Explains Jon “I have been using Aquila® DPU102 gloves for 2 weeks now in my position as Train Guard on the Swanage Railway and wish to tell you that I think they are excellent. I use them for all areas of outdoor use in train operation as they are protective in terms of rough surfaces, oil and grease and pliable enough for me to be able to manage finely controlled movements such as holding screws, using small tools etc.”

Use of the specialist Alkimos® yarn technology with polyurethane palm and finger coating confers excellent levels of breathability, snugness of fit, flexibility and sensitivity for worker comfort in precision handling areas. The DPU102 is glass fibre free.
