Waldmann goes on tour with the LIGHTLINER

Waldmann is now on the road across Europe with its new info-truck LIGHTLINER. On 26 square meters of exhibition space, the German luminaire manufacturer is showing its extensive product portfolio for industry in an attractive and unique way – directly on the customer's premises.

Expertise and personal dialogue

With its new info-truck Waldmann is underscoring its expertise in the area of lighting solutions for industry. The LIGHTLINER presents the company's diverse product portfolio using many examples of lighting solutions for industrial workplaces, in areas such as research & development, production, machines, testing, inspection and service. Especially important to the company is the personal contact that results. "Although the Internet plays an increasingly important role in information gathering, personal dialogue is still irreplaceable," says marketing director Wolfgang Auber, explaining why the company wants to break new ground with the LIGHTLINER starting this year.

Lighting diversity to try out and experience

All the industrial luminaires in the Waldmann portfolio can be found inside the 15-tonne truck. In a built-in demonstration machine, for example, visitors can see all the options the manufacturer’s product variety provides. Different lighting scenarios show the advantages of different types of luminaires and lighting technologies in direct comparison: point or area light, custom mounting and connection options, different radiation angles, lamp sizes and adjustment options. Customers can also try out different luminaires directly at one of the four integrated workplaces and find out which luminaire best suits their requirements. "The agility and adjustment options of the workplace luminaires can be tested under real conditions in the LIGHTLINER. Touching and experiencing are the focus of our product presentation," points out Mr Auber.

Customers across Europe benefit

To provide this experience, Waldmann comes directly onto the premises of interested parties with the LIGHTLINER. "This exceptional platform offers our clients numerous benefits," continues Mr Auber. "They not only save time and costs, for example in not having to go to a trade show, but benefit especially from the great product variety presented and the customer-oriented consultation provided by our lighting consultants." The LIGHTLINER will be on the road in Europe as of February 2012. The tour begins in Switzerland because the subsidiary company located there is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
