Engineering Carbon Products (ECP) appointed as Morganite’s first UK partner

Leading carbon brush manufacturers Engineering Carbon Products (ECP), part of the Erodex Group, are celebrating a double achievement this year. The firm are now able to supply carbon brushes made by ECP using a selected range of Industrial Grades from leading Global Carbon specialist Morgan AM&T. This comes in a year when ECP are celebrating 47 years in business and record levels of turnover.
The partnership is set to open up new business opportunities for both companies in the Industrial user and re-seller market, combining ECP’s rapid response, manufacture and delivery times for carbon brushes, with the high quality of material expertise that Morganite offer. It increases the number of customers who can operate their motors and generators with Morganite materials.
ECP will be focusing on industrial brush applications and can now offer carbon brushes in Morganite grades with their usual 1-2 day standard lead times, and their emergency same-day service that is available on request and comes with no price premium.
ECP director, Steve Rolinson said: “Morganite has been established in the market for over a century, having originated as the first truly global carbon brush manufacturers. ECP has, over the last 47 years, established itself as a respected supplier of high-quality carbon brushes, allied to exceptional service and lead times. The supply of a selected range of materials from Morganite to ECP offers continued high service levels combined with some of premium Morganite grades. The rapid response that has always been enjoyed by ECP customers will continue to be available, but now with Morganite grades to match.”
ECP are able to tap into some of Morganite's extensive and market leading portfolio of materials and the scope for further business opportunities across all industries is greatly enhanced .Whatever the industry, there is a grade to suit.
ECP are also expanding their already comprehensive range of ancillary items, with a new brochure available soon for all brush holders and maintenance products.
